Holiday Game Night

For this first installment and with the holidays right around the corner, we wanted to do a Holiday Game Night! We think the staples for making this holiday game night come to life are:

  • A hot chocolate bar: A milk, hot cocoa mix, and for a richer chocolate taste, some semi-sweet chocolate chips. Set your crockpot on high for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to make sure everything is well combined. For toppings: marshmallows, candy canes, sprinkles, and whipped cream are all great options.

  • Food: Food is an essential part of any good party! Appetizers work great for parties, or if you’re hosting your gathering a bit later, you could make it dessert-themed. Have everyone bring something to make it easier to host. We wanted to point out this cute idea for serving and all you need is a box, tape, and wrapping paper. Wrap boxes of various sizes to serve as food displays for the different dishes. This will add some style to your average holiday serving table.

  • A decorative photo frame: This is a perfect way to make sure your party lives on in people’s memories. All you need is a poster board, markers, some stickers, and maybe some glitter if you’re extra! Make sure to cut out the center of your board and decorate the border as you’d like.

  • Streamers and balloons: Lastly, streamers and balloons can make any good party come to life. This one is super simple — head to your local dollar store or Amazon and get some streamers and balloons to match your party colors. You can make a cute display near where your guests will enter or on any plain wall and this makes the perfect backdrop for photos.

All you need now are some games of your choice and you’re well on your way to throwing a holiday party to remember!
